Terrible Rental Experience – Would Not Recommend I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience living here. The heat has gone out three separate times overnight during the coldest days of the year. It is not only inconvenient, but unsafe, as I was not able to sleep through the night it was so cold. On top of that, the water has been going out frequently, sometimes multiple times a week. The landlord did not remedy the numerous issues, so the City of Madison inspected the apartment. An Official Notice citing numerous violations was mailed to the landlord by a Code Enforcement Officer of the Building Inspection Division of the City of Madison. Went through the winter using an electric space heater (my expense); the heat was supposed to be included in the rental amount.
