Go see Carla for a Facial.. THE BEST EVER – I saw Carla for the first time two years ago at the Woodland Hills location, and I am so happy she has moved closer to me in Santa Monica!!! BRUNNETE TO GREEN!!! – I never find the need to write a comment, but after this AWFUL experience at this salon with no refund or ounce of customer care, I found the need to write a comment. I wet in the hair salong asking my har stylist Sara to make my hair blonde. She told me that it would take a few times, and that is fine, being a dark brunette I understand the complications. you can find comparable and cheaper, if not better, facials elsewhere – I walked in 20 minutes before my facial appointment and was greeted by a confused looking employee. I had to explain that I had an appointment before I received a friendly attitude. The facial itself was mediocre. Her hands were very light, not the firm experienced hands I tend to enjoy. Average Facial – Salon staff was very friendly and welcoming. The space was clean and fairly quiet for the most part considering that there this is a hair salon/spa combo. There was no form for me to fill out about skin care history, allergies, products that I am using etc. I laid down and the facialist turned the steam on me right away (without removing my makeup first!). Skillful, friendly staff – My first experience with Allen Edwards was great. When I called for an appointment, no one was snooty to me when I asked about prices, and actually suggested some "staff specials" for first time clients. The receptionist was knowledgeable and detailed enough to ask what kind of hair and style I wanted, so that she could recommend a stylist. Same great service and friendliness from the staff. I don't mind paying for great skills and service...and hate when upscale places get snobby and pretentious. ... read more

Really Great Salon – The best haircuts and color anywhere in the world. Each haircut is carefully planned by the hair designer for the individual. Everyone there is warm and friendly. There is not too much noise or talking.

The barest brazilian – I went to this salon for my first brazilian bikini wax. I have been to several others since then and I have found that what I got was an excellent brazilian at Allen Edwards. The people were very professional and very very thorough!
