My sister had a appointment 6/11 at AGH Oakmont only to be told 6/9 that I had to reschedule. The only other appointment with her Dr. wasn't till October. That was totally unacceptable so the next option was with a nurse practitioner in the middle of August. Unbelievable, you'd think with a health system that big they'd do better and support Oakmont with another Dr.
I had the pleasure of visiting Allegheny Health Network (AHN) today, and I must say that I was genuinely impressed by the exceptional level of care and service I received. From the moment I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was seen, and the check-in process was a breeze.
