Stephen did an excellent job. He explained each item on the inspection thoroughly. He pointed out things that were in good working order, and those things that were in need of repair. All my questions were addressed fully. Stephen was very pleasant to work with and helped to put me at ease with the home buying process. I appreciated his emphasis on items which posed a concern for health or safety. I am grateful for his time and expertise. He did not appear to rush through any portion of the inspection. The peace of mind I ga... read more

I've had the pleasure of working with Steven Hinshaw for the past four years, and I can confidently say you won't find a better home inspector. His attention to detail is second to none. Time and time again, he finds issues that leave both me and my clients amazed. He doesn't just identify problems, he takes the time to explain what they mean and recommends when it's appropriate to bring in additional specialists for further evaluation. Steven was fantastic to work with. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to answer all of our questions, and was genuinely enjoyable to talk with throughout the process. Since we’re purchasing a 60+ year-old home, his understanding of how homes were built in the 1960s was especially valuable because he knew exactly what to look for. What we really appreciated was his approach to communicating with us. he informed us without alarming us and made sure we felt prepared for what would appear in the report. This is our th... read more

My wife and I recently had an inspection done on our new construction home by Steven, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From start to finish, his professionalism, knowledge, and customer service were outstanding. He took the time to walk us through every detail of the inspection, clearly explaining what needed to be fixed, why it was important, and what we should keep an eye on moving forward. He was very thorough, patient, and made sure we fully understood everything instead of just rushing through the ... read more

We used AllCheck because of recommendations and reviews on Google and Reddit. Steve was incredibly thorough and was very patient in explaining things and answering all of our questions during the inspection. He was also happy to answer more questions over text once we received the report. He was also experienced in older houses, which was a huge plus for us. We would absolutely use Steve and AllCheck again!
