While the doctor was very nice, I was looking for a doctor that did a certain procedure and online it said she did at this location. As soon as I got there, I was triple checking my insurance covered this visit and I was told I wasn't going to get charged (it was a lie). Once the appointment started, the doctor said she actually wasn't licensed in D.C. to do the procedure I came to do but that we can use the appointment to talk about all of the options. Don't be fooled, this is a hit or miss healthcare establishment. Sadly, they are not open during posted hours (they are not morning people, even 830am and still not a sign of life) which makes the vet next door being open all the more ironic. If you are looking to go somewhere to get blood work done, I recommend booking an appointment with literally any other LabCorp as the folks here are MIA. The one on K St runs pretty efficiently.
Dr. Yang at minimum saved my fertility and ultimately my life. Her diligence and dedication to helping me even when she was on vacation to make sure I got an ultrasound somewhere as soon as possible (we had to go through SEVERAL places and healthcare systems) made sure that I was diagnosed quickly and early. Dr. O’Connor looking at that ultrasound and calling me with the results asap even when I am not her direct patient is something I am eternally grateful for. This is the best care team.
My experience at ALLCARE in Navy Yard was excellent from start to finish. I was initially hesitant since I recently moved after getting married, but I’m so glad I chose this location. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful, the nurse took my vitals quickly, and then I saw Dr. Beverley Gregory for my annual physical.
