My cat had an emergency and we found this place at 1:30 in the morning. I placed the call to make sure they were open and was told to bring him in. Everyone in the house decided to go with us to take the cat. Once we arrived we were greeted and questions answered. We were handed the bill before any treatment was started. I got great service, the place was clean, and very friendly. The vet took great care of me. I had 5 rescued dogs and she did everyhing she could to help me out.
nice place overall, pretty clean they even have a cat adoption room. my cat ate something the other night no clue what. rushed her up there, they did some tests and told me i needed to give her some medicine they were gonna send home with me. it was alot less expensive that i thought it would be. i called back at 1am because i wasnt sure about giving the medicine with food or not and a doctor actually answered the phone and helped me out. wish all my past vet experiences were this nice
The Doctor and the Vet Techs are some of the most knowledgeable vets I have ever had the pleasure of finding. They are caring and compassionate towards both the patients, and the patient's families. Doctor Putterbaugh uses a cautious approach towards diagnostics, recommending what is best for the patients, without recommending un-needed proceedures. I brought my 3 dachshunds in to get their teeth cleaned as well as get a general exam done, since one of them is getting up there in age. I was given a price quote when I dropped my dogs off, it had a low estimate and a high estimate, since they wouldn't know how much it would be until they did the teeth cleaning for each dog and knew what was going to be necessary. This is the most pathetic emergency pet clinic I have ever been to. My 12 year old boxer has seizures that are sometimes frequent and sometimes not. Either way, I'm used to them and I know there isnt much I can do about them. He is very old for a boxer. Its just that this time was different and he wasn't acting right so I knew it wasn't just the seizure. PLEASE!!! Do not use this clinic! One of my family members had the most horrible experience there. Their with lack of skills, unprofessional environment combined with the advice from others veterinarians, I will never under any circumstances use this emergency vet!
We had to rush our 6 month old puppy to the vet Sunday night. He was checked over fully and was given medicine to take home. The next night we had to rush him back. He has parvo. My mistake was that I declined the test the night before even though they said that he could have it. Since parvo is not cheap to treat we was told what we can do at home. Me and my husband went to this clinic. Our first impression was great. The "doctor" and "nurse" were very friendly and took their time with us....but that really doesn't matter if your animal has been diagnosed wrong. We were told that our animal had a serious, life long genetic disorder which would require special attention.
