I was there for 4 days all the nurses there were great
The best hospital around.
The doctors, specialists, and radiology department are great! The ER however....well lets just say I walked out with my baby at a temp of 102+. Even though they knew she had an underlying condition, we waited over an hour for them to take a specimen....over sn hour later...we walked and they still hadnt taken the specimen.
My recommendation is to improve scheduling procedures. I have called now three times and been directs to three different places. My 5 year old son needs a feeding evaluation and I live in the Brandon area. I have left messages but no one has called me back. This has stretched over 1.5 weeks now. All Children's was recommended by my pediatrician but now I am wavering in this referral. This feeding issue is critical to our family and have not gotten any help so far. This hospital is amazing! I am truly blessed that I was able to complete my Pediatric clinical hours here! The staff, patients, and their families made this experience one of the best memories I will have from nursing school!! Thank you again for this amazing opportunity, and thank you to all the nurses that provided me with guidance and understanding of the different conditions these children were going through.
I loved the way they catered to my son and made him feel like he was a little "prince", rather than being in the hospital! We had been in & out of many hospitals, since he was born, but this is the first time he had "fun", while receiving the best care that he had ever received! And not that they need to do more than care for my child, but they cared for me, as a parent, too! My son is here and has been for 7 months he was a micro premie and thanks to the living and caring staff my baby boy is well on his way to recovery and hopefully home by christmas! Thank u especially to our primary nurse practitioner and nurses , caren smith, anne marie judie and shannon we will forever be thankful for u guys and will never be able to repay you for keeping our boy safe and well! We love you all!
I cannot believe how luck we are to have such a wonderful Children's Hospital right here in are backyard. We had the most amazingly wonderful care from start to finish today.
