Got in to see an Orthopedic, they had me see a PA that was maybe 25yo. Gave me a diagnosis and prescribed me a treatment that didn’t work at all, because it was a wrong diagnosis. Now I understand that we’re human and make mistakes, but to see a PA I could’ve gone to an urgent care - they’re not that trained for certain type of situations (my husband is a PA too). I have anything against the girl that visited me, I bet she did her best. I would’ve gladly seen an orthopedic since they charged me 400$ to “have seen” one.
The staff are really nice they’re efficient. The PA was very informative. Let me know exactly what she was doing and what was most likely wrong with my left hip. I’ve been here before and will continue to go when I need to. Hopefully, I don’t have to go too often.-
This review is for AAO not providing service. I brought my partner in after she was having leg pain, and after we were checked in the PA saw she was at risk of a more serious issue. They gave us a recommendation of an ER and didn't charge. We appreciated their integrity and will keep AAO in mind if we do need orthopedic treatment in the future.
I think everyone has different situation and experience. But mine was good. I went to a PT session in Jaco Rehab, and they referred me to this place downstairs to take an Xray for my rib pain. This clinic is able to walk in. I filled in a few forms and waited maybe 20min to take the xray and another 20min to meet a physician. The physician shares some suggestions and other helpful information about my situation. They are very patient.
