I appreciate consumer reports and Yelp. I give more positive reports then negative. Sorry. Today is a negative and big warning. Last week my sons boiler blew, water everywhere. He called every plumber in town. Temps are in the negatives and he has no hot water or heat. Finally got a couple to tear away from working on their case load. My family has been in need of emergency heating services on two occasions. Last night (very early morning) was one of those occasions. Our tech came by around 1 am. Immediately went to work to find the problem. Found out it was a part that had to be found on Monday morning. Instead of leaving my family without heat he brought in 2 heaters to keep us warm until Monday. He was prompt, knowledgeable and concerned. My family will always be Alkota customers!
Called in because my dinosaur of a furnace was not kicking on. With freezing temps and 3 little ones at home this was not a good start to the day. The friendly lady on the phone(Jill I think) said they could come out later in the afternoon. The tech Zach arrived as promised and in a couple hours had raised the dinosaur furnace back to life. Thanks!!!
Awesome customer service. Quick to respond, very professional and reliable. Very happy with their service!
The reason we are rating our recent visit with Alkota as fair is because the service tech was one time, professional and courtesy. However, we have great concerns about a part that was replaced. The price was excessive and when asked for the receipt for the part the tech was unable to provide it. Upon the concern we contacted Alkota and was referred to the general manager who was to contact us. As of six hours later we have yet to receive a phone call.
