Exceptional Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go!! I ordered the Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go from the DoubleTree Inn at the Colonnade, and it was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish tasted homemade and full of flavor. The turkey was perfectly moist, the mashed potatoes were light and fluffy, the stuffing was wonderfully savory, and the green beans were cooked just right. This restaurant should be rated higher than it is! I ate here twice during a recent stay. I got the ribeye steak (temperature was perfect, glaze was delicious) with truffle fries (SO GOOD). Portions were large. Service was great. Large dining area and plenty of seating.
Pretty standard hotel restaurant. Busy with hotel guests; very open seating area. Bar was super nice and had some good specials for JHU game days. Brussels were a bit undercooked but otherwise very flavorful
It's a restaurant in the lobby of a hotel, so it is what it is. But the food is yummy! (If not a little over priced, but again - I expect that at a hotel.) Staff was welcoming and friendly. Food was quick. Come with the right expectations and you'll have the right experience.
I ordered the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, described in the menu as including “roasted butternut squash, pickled carrot, and balsamic caramelized onions.” The dish I was served consisted of plain Brussels sprouts, no other vegetable or garnish to be found. When I asked the server about the other ingredients, I was told “they don’t put them in there anymore”.
