Terrible Place to Rent Management does a terrible job communicating with residents. Nearly impossible to talk to/hear back from anyone. When maintenance is needed the job is never done well or in a timely manner. I didn’t even realize this was supposed to be a smoke free area because of how many times I smell and see people smoke. The apartment walls are thin and you can smell and hear every little thing. Renovations were cheaply done and they have the audacity to raise the rent. Alister apartments. Beautiful We moved here from Arizona, So far so good. I love the area its a wonderful apartment complex, close to many walking paths, friendly, pool open with a lifeguard, beautiful upgraded gym.

Save yourself the headache and DO NOT RENT here! This is an older property not even owned by MillCreek and the lack of communication and customer service is terrible. There are not enough staff to help with answering basic questions or to help with maintenance requests since everyone is new and is figuring it out as they go. There is a major issue with receiving mail with some of the buildings and it could take up to a year to be fixed which is unacceptable. Verified Renter Management and tenants do not help each other. Management don't look out for their residents, only do what's required. They used to be super friendly when they 1st came on board. Not so much now. I wouldn't recommend because it is very expensive here.
Verified Renter competitive rent, responsive maintenance, everything you need within a 10 minute drive, and an apartment complex surrounded by nature makes for a homely area.
Wonderful Place, People and Area! I published a few reviews for Alister of Columbia via various outlets. I stumbled on this and just really want to clarify that two reviews on here with the gun shooting and the drug shooting don't belong here and should be taken down. I live here and this is not THAT at ALL. The units & grounds are gorgeous. The staff here are friendly, upbeat and professional. Perfect? no.. but pretty darned close. Going Downhill I was caught in gun crossfire, right outside my door (nothing to do with anyone I know.) I thought at first it was fireworks. People were yelling at me get down, get down, go inside. With some of the people living here, it is no surprise. The new mgmt. company got rid of the security detail, so you are on your own. There are also tenants peeing in the parking lot, that's a real nice sight to see. Throngs of teenagers blaring their music, and the parking lot being used for drug deals. poor management I would not reccomend this place, my roommate and i lived there for 10 months and have had problems with leakage in the apartment, we also encountered our tenants next door was shooting in front of us and it was a horrible experience. Management never asked us if we were okey i was shaken for weeks after the incident. I saw one of the tenant from alister shooting his GF with a gun. My roommate also got electricuted by the washer and they fixed it with a tape. They really dont take human seriously. They also d... read more
