Dr Cross is the best psychiatrist out there. She always gave me hope, had a plan to try something different. She included me in treatment decisions, respected my opinion, was extremely professional. She was responsive in emergencies. She listened to me and was empathetic, and also kept up-to-date on the current treatments. I couldn't recommend her more strongly!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME - UNCARING – I was referred to Dr. Cross by my psychologist and was told that there were no openings for more than a month. I made the appointment and waited. A few days before I was scheduled to go in, I received a message that my appointment was canceled and that the doctor would not take any more new patients. I would expect someone in her position to realize that she is dealing with people in emotional distress. What she did was unethical and unprofessional. She's the best!!! – Dr. Cross has been a beacon of hope for the past 10 years & she's managed to keep me somewhat whole, or at least kept me from throwing myself from the highest precipice. I've been to other places and other doctors, but I have always kept her in my Rolodex.

HORRIBLE FRONT OFFICE STAFF!!!! Larchmont phyciatric Medical Clinic – I found the Dr at Larchmount to be excellent. The staff however, told me there would be no way to have my medication refilled unless I came in for an appt.. At the time I was on location on a film so I could not. The medication was a high dose anti depressant that spacifically says to not stop taking it suddenly. The dosage should be taken down slowly. Not very helpfull – I have gone to this office for a couple months now and every time I go there something get screwed up. They lost my file, then they couldnt even get in touch with my insurance. This time I have had to wait almost a week for my presciption. I have had to call them a number of times going back and forth with them and the pharmacy. They have not been very helpfull. Save yourself the headache dont go to them.

Great doctor with an empathetic ear. – she is very compassionate and open to listening to you, the patient. Her empathetic skills are exquisite. I like her a lot. I've been seeing her for about 2 years. She listens closely to your wants in terms of medication and respects your requests. She does not quickly medicate negative emotions. She is cautious and really good at finding a balance between medication, healthy experience of feelings, and therapy. I've never felt over or under medicated.
