Polite office staff Difficult to find her office and my car
Starting with Tanya, at check in, weigh in & blood pressure with a delightful patient PA, Dr. Gilchrist carefully, thoroughly discussing my next procedure, my visit was excellent, per usual.
I should have listened to the one thing that the one star patients kept saying, rushed, waited for 2 hours, and wrong diagnosis. They all had those those things on common. Sadly, I did too. I drove for an hour, waited for two, I was told to do several tests. She felt my uterus and said have you ever had an IUD and said your uterus isn’t in the correct spot. No IUD. Come to find out from another doctor who laughed after examining me and said you have three prolapses. So all the Catscans (she ordered ….two) and an antibiotic, ... read more
Highly recommend!
I like Dr. Gilchrist. She's knowledgeable and has a good bedside manner. However, the office is a mess. My first time, she came in then decided I needed to undress. Dr. Gilchrist left but it was more than 30 minutes when she returned. No one came in and told me what was going on. When she returned, she said she had been pulled into a procedure. I was seen on May 24. First, Urology of Greater Atlanta's computer system was down and lost the new patient information it took me 45 minutes to type in before arrival. When I finally wrote it all out by hand, I waited a good long while before being called back. had the feel of an ER; patients are taken back to a little "triage"-type area where someone takes vital signs. A nurse attempted a catheter but could not insert it. I was then seen by Dr. Gilchrist, who spent less than 10 minutes total. She offered an expensive test ... read more
Visit was great. Doctor was very knowledgeable. I would have liked to have 'behavioral' options before jumping into medication options but I was not presented this (and forgot to ask).
Being able to be seen same day. UTI's come on me quickly, and it is very painful. I am very pleased with Dr, Gilchrist.
Dr. Gilchrist is very attentive to me as a patient. I would definitely recommend her.
