I went to Dr. Alicea to have my wisdom tooth removed. After a couple of days the left side of my face was still numb. I went back to let him know that this isn't normal. He told me to take vitamin B pills and brushed it off. Weeks later still the same issue, he gave me pills but that still did not work. He also told me I am not young and these things happen to older folks...I was 35. A year later my bottom lip and chin is still numb. I regret ever going to this man.
Dr. Alicea is so great...! He has the very best chair-side manner I have encountered. Explains things well, ensures my comfort, I have seen him (unfortunately) too many times for dental implants, and so I have become a "frequent flyer." He gets my very highest recommendation.
Dr Alicea was very informative of the procedure and mindful of my pain tolerance. (Bone graph and implant) He stopped and gave me another shot. I did not feel rushed. He and all his staff all wear masks for Covid precautions.

It has been over 3 months since I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Alicea and my bottom lip is still numb. During all my visits, he rushes in and out. Does not take time to fully answer my questions. Half the time I keep stopping him before he rushes out the door. On all occasions, his nurse is the one that takes the time to fully answer my questions. And if they don't know, they then go and find out the answer. There are much better doctors out there that take their time and actually care.
Had a tooth extractions and he is the best i have gone to . He has a feathery hand and you can tell he enjoys his work .
I had my wisdom teeth extraction surgery with Dr. Luis Alicea. I was worried when I went to my appointment for the surgery but the staff and Dr. Alicea were very professional and they kept on insuring me that this procedure is normal and won't last for 30 minutes. Everything went well and I am satisfied with the result. My wife and my daughter also had oral surgeries with Dr. Alicea before mine. I would definitely recommend the office of Dr. Alicea for anyone.
I had the best experience with Dr. Alicea. He cares and he is the most professional doctor. I highly recommend him to everyone who are looking the best Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery doctor here in Orlando, Florida.
Excellent in every sense of the word. Staff and Dr Alicea who did my surgery are very caring and professional. I felt at ease and knew I was in the best of health for my surgery.
