We saw Dr. Ali after receiving a prostate cancer diagnosis. One of the scariest times of our lives. During our initial visit Dr. Ali spent all the time we needed to explain what treatment options were available and what he recommended. He acted like we were his only concern of the day. He is an amazing surgeon who remembers he is treating a person and their condition. His primary concerns are to save your function and preserve your life. Great staff and great Dr. Ali. Though I wrote a review I forget to mention my first visit was at his office in Tatem Blvd in Phoenix.
Dr. Borhan is professional, attentive, and skilled surgeon. He has a good sense of humor and I found him to be approachable. He is direct and straight forward. At one point I was having difficultly connecting to his office staff and requested to speak with him directly. He contacted me promptly and provided alternative ways to contact him. I wish all physicians practiced medicine as demonstrated by Dr. Borhan.
Best doctor I ever had… Took a long time to get an appointment with them but it was well worth it… Very bright… Honest… And tells you like it is
Dr. Borhan has dropped the ball. After dealing with incompetent members of his staff for basic care and testing scheduling... and achieving nothing, I turned directly to Dr. Borhan himself to express my frustrations and the shortcomings with members of his staff. He understood and promised he would follow through and make it happen himself... He, unfortunately, fell short as well. Look elsewhere for a practice that will show care and integrity.
He doesn’t see you after surgery to tell you how things went. Spends only a couple of min with you in post op office visit. Had to have several surgeries with him and the last visit he bragged he had seen 45 patients by the time he saw me at 11:45 am.
Dr. Borhan, as usual, is very thorough in his response to my medical needs. He is very direct and compassionate in his medical advice. I would certainly recommend him to my friends needing an urologist.
Honest, skilled, caring and very knowledgeable. I have been to a dozen urologists over the years and he is by far the best I've seen.
My last visit was an easy going one almost as the previous visits; but unexpectedly it turned out to be as my last visit since under special conditions, I decided to leave my residence in Arizona and settling in Virginia ! Dr. Borhan is excellent and so simple and easy going person to deal with ! I'll be missing him so much and wishing him all the best !
