I had a consultation and met him. He was recommended by another doctor. He immediately started asking questions that I have already discussed with two other doctors at Scripps. He ordered x-rays that I didn't need. I had x-rays and an MRI that showed I had a cyst in my spine that was causing all the pain in my right leg. Now he says he has to wait to see if my insurance will cover it. I have GEHA - United Health care. I am a retired government employee. I had been referred to by my general practitioner. I got a second opinion and a third opinion before I went ahead with surgery on my neck. I’m happy to say the surgery was a success and he was the ultimate professional. He did what he had to do because of my neck problems. I am now almost a year out from my neck surgery and very happy with his work and you will be too!

Worst un-compassionate Dr I’ve ever met. Has no bedside manner and acts very arrogant.
Wasn’t able to communicate with my mom. He decided his opinion was to be aggressive.

It broke and in 1988 I had a double laminectomy. I was pain free until 10 years ago, when I started having referred pain in my hip. Dr. Bagheri completely solved that problem with a 3-hour surgery. So glad the doctor suggested making room for my spinal cord without fusion and so glad it was done at Scripps where I had a room with ocean view. Recovery was not easy but proceeded as expected. Dr. Bagheri explained everything carefully and answered all my questions.
I seen Dr. Ali Bagheri for neck surgery and was at a point I did not think it could get worse. Fortunately for me, shortly after surgery a lot of my arm, and hand issues I have dealt with for years either disappeared or the pain lessened greatly. Can not say thank you enough
