Great bike shop - good service, good product mix, and friendly and knowledgeable staff.
RecommendedI have been around bikes for 35 years and have purchased bikes from every shop in town and some that are not around anymore. The staff at Alger is always very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. If you are looking for a new bike or just need to get that old steed serviced, check out the team at Alger!
Friendly, knowledgeable staff make this one of the best bike shops you can go to in the Grand Rapids area. Quality service is the second part of the equation, not just before you buy a product, but afterwards as well. Cycling is a way of life at Alger. Go visit, give them a chance, you won't be sorry.
Had the opportunity to work alongside some of the Alger Bikes staff last week at a JDRF cycling event last week. We had over 100 bikes to unbox, build, and box back up, and do ride support for over 600 riders, total. Thanks for sending a great staff to support a great cause. The Alger Bikes crew is second to none!
What a great place! I purchased a bike from village, and was less than impressed with the service. I then was looking at Freewheelers, and was unable to get any service due to them being to busy. Also had virtually no mountain bikes in stock. Why buy a bike from Alger? Because of the knowledgeable employees, great service department, great prices, and they ride what they sell (Kinda awkward to see the guy who sold you a specialized on a Scott). You guys have made a lifelong customer. Highly highly recommend!
