Great food and service!!!! – My friends and I recently visited Alfredo of Rome for lunch. All I have to say is that the service was superb!!! We were greeted at the door by two lovely hostesses one of which promptly seated us at our table. Although it was fairly crowded we were able to get a quiet corner. Just like being in Italy – I am a frequent traveler to Italy....mainly for the the food and wine...and Alfredo is like dining in Rome. The ambiance is unique for an Italian restaurant, but perfect for New York. The food is delicious and typical of what you would find in one of the best restaurants in Rome. Outrageous and Shameful!! – I and two of my dear friends visiting from St. Petersburg, Russia, stopped by at Alfredo's on Sunday night (January 6, 2008) for a drink and deserts after our dinner at China Grill. Now, I have been at Alfredo's many times myself before - my office used to be across the Fifth Avenue. In fact, I even have their "Red Card" (for frequent guests). My Great Dining Experience in NYC – Saturday's lunch at Alfredo of Rome was an amazing experience. My friends and I started with the Frittura alla Romana (calamari) and Gorgonzola with Pear Pizza for appetizers. For my main course I tried the Straccetti alla Trasteverina. Beef cooked to perfection presented to me on a bed of arugula. The service was excellent as well. I will definitely be back to try more delicious food from the menu.
Best Fetuccini in New York! – Alfredo's in New York City reminds me of Alfredo's in Rome. Fetuccini is the best! I would highly recommend it to anyone going to New York. The service was excellent. The waiters were fun. Food was very very good! Yummmm!!!

! – When searching for an Italian restauarant, what better location than Alfredo's! The food is delicious. Service is prompt, courteous and efficient. It is a perfect spot for pre theater dinner. It is also an excellent place to end your day after a day of sightseeing.
Memorable Dining Experience – We were thrilled to be able to dine at Alfredo's as it came highly recommended and had an excellent reputation. I loved the place as it had character and history contributing to the feel of authenticity. We were not disappointed as the staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating.
