Dr. Kraev performed a mitral valve repair on my father in December. He told my dad that there was less than 1% chance of complications. During surgery, he developed a bleed. We did not learn more than that, and what followed was our father being on 2 heart pumps, ventilation, and a CRT machine. He passed away 6 days later.
