A great surgeon. Very caring. He did a hip replacement for me on both hips. I would recommend his serices to anyone. The staff at Oaks were very friendly and caring. They were the best.
Dr. Michalow is an outstanding doctor!! Really made me feel at ease. Very professional. Explanations were thorough & easy to understand. Treatment was fast & painless. Very comforting to have him be the guy resetting my badly broken finger. I was Humpty Dumpty when I arrived & was out the door within 45 minutes & all put together again! Great doctor!! I am quite confident my hand is in good hands with Dr. Michalow!! Thanks doc!!!
His empathy and compassion given my state of pain was greatly appreciated. The staff as well. Everyone was respectful and treated me as a human, as a patient, not a number. The x ray was quick and inconclusive given my pain level. A MRI was ordered and immediately done. me. Dr. Michalow read the report directly upon completion of the test & gave me a treatment plan. I'm still in disbelief as to how quickly I was given an apt and actually received answers the same day. I can't thank you enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Michalow and his staff at OAK in Bradley. I had a torn rotator cuff and a SLAP tear that he fixed, along with something else that did not show up on the MRI, but he seen it during surgery. He and his staff were very accommodating to me when I was very nervous about surgery. I am not 8 weeks post op and I have better motion in my arm than before surgery. While still in some pain due to PT, it is being managed very well. Thanks Dr. Michalow and his staff
I needed a total knee replacement Oak offered a free seminar informational at a Riverside facility I attended. This introduced me to the Oak staff doctors for the surgery I needed. I choose Dr. Michalow and set up an appointment to discuss my knee problems. X-Rays were taken for evaluation, recommendations for corrective surgery were provided and all my apprehensive questions were answered by Dr. Michalow. I would recommend anyone seeking total knee replacement to confer with Dr. Michalow.
It was very good. This visit was a follow up to shoulder surgery to remove bone spurs on my right shouder. I was very satisfied with the previous operation on the left shoulder perforned by Dr. Michalow several yers ago and and that is why I returned to him for the surgery on my right shoulder. .I am grateful for his skill in restoring my full use and full ange of motion in both shoulders.
