Dr. Prattes and his office did an exceptional service for me. Making sure I was taken care of and also fast tracking me to see a specialist. I would reccomend him.
TLDR; Dr. Prattes is great; however dealing with the office and insurance makes it not worth going. I went to Dr. Prates office on 12/03/2020 for an annual physical and bloodwork. His office was in my network, I called the previous day and they said they could get me in the next day. When I arrive the receptionist, who is also the doctor's wife, asks me if I have met my deductible on my insurance. Dr. Prattes has been my primary physician since 1978. Very knowledgeable and listens. He keeps up on everything medical. I was concerned about a bad review from Courtney on this site. They have never had a man working in the office so I wonder if she got him mixed up with someone else
I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SOOOOO POORLY! It should be NO stars! My prescription for a NON narcotic water pill required for a 30 yr old ademia condition (I retain 7-10 lbs daily) and I was completely denied due to needing an office visit. No no courtesy call, no explanation, No reminder of any appointment! The VERY understandable, I requested enough to get by until I can come in a week for an appointment. I don't know how my review disappeared, but Dr Prattes is amazing and truly cares for his patients. I've moved away and still consider traveling hundreds of miles to have him as my doctor.
