Completely disregarded my pain. Said it was subjective. He is probably under scrutiny from the DEA the way he acts and responds to patients asking for genuine help controlling pain. Lied on my patient notes.
Dr. Owens is very personable and approachable. He is not straight clinical. It was actually a comversation.
Dr. Owens is awesome! He shows concern and listens. I never feel rushed.

Excellent visit. Dr listened to my issues with compassion
After 3 cancelled appointments, I finally had my first visit. Dr. Owens zeroed in on my mental health after I responded to his question about a medications. I was there for pain and to be established as one of his patients. He flat out told me my pain was mood related; I countered and told him, no my mood is good. He then referred to my rating of my 8-9 pain level and said that according to my bp and heart rate, I’m not in pain. The constant interruptions. I never got to the reason I was there. I’ve had bad drs before, but I’ve never had a doctor who interrupts every other sentence. He seemed to have his mind made up about me and what was wrong with me as soon as he laid eyes on me. I’ve never heard a doctor disregard other drs opinions, the previous treating notes, test results, etc the way he did. He might be a good dr for the people he thinks are the “right kind” of patients.
