After ten days for traveling the back roads of Canada and Alaska, from northern Idaho, my transmission died. That's the bad news. The good news is that it happened less than a mile from Alaska professional auto. I can't say enough about the service and the effort made by them to get me going again. It was without a doubt the best experience I've had in a repair shop. Honest, hard working and fair. Doesn't get any better than that.

I had the clutch replaced on my Pt Cruiser. I was quoted over the telephone that it would be about $1100.00. When I went to pay the bill it was over $1500.00! I was told the clutch was much more expensive than he thought. The invoice showed the parts cost about $1097.00. I never got a phone from them stating his quote was that far off. I cannot believe a clutch for this car is over $500 in looking at prices on the internet. I personally would give this company a one star rating. I never plan on going back.
