Sea kayaks are available for purchase or for rent (during the summer). The staff is a group of consummate outdoors people who are climbing and hiking specialists and happy to help you craft your very own extreme Alaskan adventure.

You are shameful and need to do some training for your very inconsiderate staff! Shame on you for thinking you can’t wear an XL or larger and be fit.
RecommendedCame in looking for some all around backpacking boots. AMH was super helpful and informative. They did their best to get my fat flat feet into a pair of boots. When they didn’t have anything that would work they immediately suggested a couple other local places that may be able to help me out. Great options in gear and amazing customer service.

Just bought some shoes and the customer service was excellent and The employee was super knowledgeable and explained my fit issues clearly ( I have more and less than I thought). This will be my go-to for shoes! I prefer to buy local when I can and the other store ignored me (rhymes with pinny cave in) �
The crew at AMH are awesome! Sent my avalanche transceiver down to get a critical software update. Rick and Emily took care of business like pros. I highly recommend doing business with this 5 star outfit.
