....the scallops were the best that I have ever had.... the risotto was perfect texture and taste.... my friend (a meat eater) had a perfectly seared 18...yes 18oz steak and ate the entire piece it was so great..... the cucumber martinis were fantastic....and finally the remodeled front porch is comfortable and like sitting in an outdoor dining room...overall a perfect evening!
Alana's Food and Wine is a Columbus must. The sourcing of high quality and largely local base ingredients, top notch service, and a creative chef combine together to form an experience which is one to be had. And, one to be remembered. Add some great company, and the framework is laid for an even greater evening. Much thanks to Alana and her Crew.
Impeccable food and service. Chef Alana came out of the kitchen multiple times to offer tastes of special treats and even to serve my partner's surprise entrée. Wine pairings were chosen thoughtfully by a knowledgable and friendly server. Would recommend to anyone looking for a diverse and delicious menu in a beautiful environment.
Alana's is an institution in Columbus, and the thought of her and the restaurant not being here is troubling and makes my stomach grumble. Go there now while you still can!!
