After many months going to several doctors, with no resolution for my shoulder and elbow pain, I am so glad I saw Dr. Christensen. He was extremely thorough since the initial visit taking the time to read my previous records, asking questions and listening to my concerns.. He ordered extensive blood work and exams to find the root of the problem. He then explained all my options in detail. I am so grateful for his thorough approach to my case, experience and bedside manner. Highly recommend him!

Had hand surgery by Dr Alan Christensen at the Orlando Orthopedic Groups surgical center. The nurses and attendants almost made it fun! Everyone was so nice and attentive. The Center was very clean. The anthesthesiologist visited with me prior and after surgery and also called that night to check on me. Dr Christensen explained everything he was going to do. Everyone was very professional.

After two different hand/ wrist issues over two years or so that Dr. Christensen helped with, I can say without reservation that he actually treats the patient and the injury and does so with empathy and professionalism. He is concerned about his patients and is very knowledgeable about injuries, conditions, and treatments and is willing to discuss options to meet the patient's needs. Further, his Coordinator, Kim Jessee, continues his compassion during check out ensuring patient satisfaction!
Both hands have been riddled with Dupuytren over 35 years. I had surgical operations back then which were painful & required 6 months of rehab. Last year Al preformed Needle Fasciotony on my right hand fingers & Opended the Web with great success & minimual pain. Recently I opted for xiaflex injection & manipulation for finger on my right hand. Again great success. Al is a master surgeon, friend & hero with a great support team. I highly recommend Alan Christensen! Bob Lasek

I have used Dr. Christensen for multiple issues and totally rely on his knowledge and treatment options. He and the staff at Orlando Orthopedics are very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.
