for someone who comments on my weight every single time i’m in the office, I’m usually able to excuse surgeons and doctors just being absurd and disrespectful to get the care i need but dr schuricht did not provide me with any sort of adequate care. as soon as i woke up from hernia surgery, the first thing i noticed was a bulge on the opposite side from the original hernia. i have been being told for 10 months now that it’s “just scar tissue” and “it’ll go away” “sometimes when you’re bigger things move around and stuff does... read more
If you have a GI issue see another doctor. Doctor lacks empathy and basic communication skills. I’ve been dealing with a painful injury and he never followed up on imaging results. Instead he had someone else call to say seek pain management. I said for what and she said I don’t know. The doctor will call. It’s been a week and waiting. I’m going else where.
After Dr. Schuricht repaired my hernia I suffered chronic pain. Along with complications related to the surgery, his bedside manner was concerning. He commented how awkward it was after I hugged my Dad before going into the operating room, he did not visit me in the recovery room after surgery, and he cursed frequently. I underwent a corrective surgery which revealed Dr. Schuricht's surgical technique was the source of my problems, along with possible permanent damage.
