We scheduled a showing and drove nearly 50 minutes to see the property, only to find that the lockbox either had the wrong code or was broken. My realtor reached out immediately, but the landlord was slow to respond with the correct code, leaving us waiting outside and eventually unable to see the property at all. I just made a call to know the availability of a property I’m interested in and from the very beginning the man (Alan) who answered my call started bombarding me with questions in a rather negative/completely rude attitude and just looking for any excuse to not to give me the opportunity to at least visit the house. Evidently, this person wrongly stereotyped me because of my Hispanic accent to the point that he just wanted to find anything to say no to.
