I just received really bad treatment tonight by physician Chui. She did not properly evaluate me. I had tummy and back pain, as well as in inner thigh around lymph nodes. My complaint was ammonia exposure. Maybe a little toxic. I have a weak immune system and am a disabled vet. The lady argued with me. Was rude. And made fun of me to her staff. I walked out. Our familiy’s experiences here for over thirty years have been fine. No complaints whatsoever. We have never had to wait too long to be seen. Emergency rooms visits are not the best times for anyone. I suggest if you expect to have to wait anywhere while they serve others that you take a book to read and dress comfortably. If your lip is bleeding arrive with a towel to apply pressure while they take the intake info. Obviously if you have incurred a traumatic injury you should go directly to Highland Hispital instead. Friday 7/21/17 was my first visit and they had me in & out in 1 hr., the Doctor wasn't the nicest doctor person. (Dr. Johnson) I had to come back on 7/26/17 per my Doctor, this time I was in there for aleast 6 hours. I was admitted to the hospital but it took for ever to get a room, a total 8.5 hours. From my room in the ER I could hear the staff just joking about patients that had been in there. Not professional!
The Doctor and nurses were polite and professional. I didn't have to wait long for my emergency.
I have been to this ER and hospital on many occasions and the staff is great, helpful caring and really care about the patients and get things done right and in a timely matter.
