I got a cut on my foot possibly glass in it. I went to the ER around 10pm and didn’t leave until 4am. The staff pasted by my room every couple of minutes but no one stopped to check in. 2 hours of waiting I got an X-ray done but an hour later no one came in to tell me results. Thought the whole time no one came to disinfect the wound, just numbing cream which didn’t even numb my wound. By the last hour, I saw the doctor she put glue on my foot. Worst ER department I didn’t even get seen by a doctor it was only a nurse who checked in with me long wait time too I waited for 3 hrs and didn’t get checked in with a doctor once, the waiting room wasn’t even that busy. If you are sick and need treatment don’t go here they don’t do their job
The Spanish-speaking operator was absolutely terrible. She was very rude and unprofessional. She spoke as if she had a personal problem with speaking with persons in need. I understand that you are doing your job, but being rude to people seeking help and information on how and where to receive it reflects very badly on the Alameda healthcare system.
This is a smaller ER and the staff is amazing. Dr Schwimmer and nurse Dani were kind, thorough and warm when my partner was having some really tough and unexplainable symptoms/pain. We were seen promptly and taken seriously. THANK YOU EVERYONE!
Went for a suspected burn blister.Probably 2nd degree.Only partly treated Neglected.P.A left not to ever return.Meanwhile, left alone.Wound was bleeding .profusely for an hr.So much more.
