This hospital provides the worst possible care imaginable. No respect is shown towards the patients. They haven't washed my mother's hair in over 2 weeks and the last time they did it was never combed out and is now matted to her head. Myra in ICU has been horribly rude with me every time I've had to deal with her. The quality of care my mother has received is so inconsistent it has actually hindered her chances of recovery. I would give less than 1 star if it was possible.
This his got to be one the worst Emergency Rooms I’ve ever been to. Both myself and my son were seen yesterday and told we have the same virus but it was unknown what it is. Obviously I needed a breathing treatment since I have asthma but my symptoms were ignored. My son was dehydrated but no fluids given����I’ll drive to Chapel Hill before I go back there!!!!
The staff are very friendly and treat you well. I have always had good service here. I am thankful for what they do.
My husband went in for heart catheterization and ended up with stent. Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a great experience at ARMC.
Since ERs get a bad rap I feel compelled to write that we had a very good experience with the staff in the ARMC ER. My mom has Alzheimer’s and our last experience in an ER was 26 hours of hell. ARMC staff were so patient and understanding and seemed to have had more training than we are used to with Dementia patients. The ER is the last place you want to be with a Dementia patient but they made it very tolerable and much less stressful. We were pleasantly surprised and relieved!
No wonder they have a poor rating. If your loved one is sick don't take them to the ER.
