Matthew at Alabama Tank came to my property to pump my septic tank. He said that the septic tank wasn't in use, and that I was hooked to the sewer system and charged me $950. Apparently the septic is, indeed, in use....and I have had to pay other groups to get it pumped. He repeatedly said he would go back out to re-check it, and would refund my money if his diagnosis was wrong. He has failed to go back out to view the septic as promised. Hired these guys to inspect a tank on a home I'm purchasing, they come out and start digging and find roots. Instead of simply cutting the roots with a sawzall they said they had to get a backhoe out to dig the access and charge me more $. I said fine, they come back a few days later, dig the access and when removing the concrete cover it splits in half because they grabbed it from the corner. Tell me it's 175 for a new one. Fine whatever I'll pay for it. Several days later I get an emailed quote it's 175 + 575 for install. ... read more

If you want someone that is not gonna stay in contact with you and give you the runaround and you have to stay on top of and still not get anything done this is the company to call.
