I highly recommend Alabama Sawyer; Leigh was great to work with and made fantastic tables. We had a mature chestnut oak that was blown over in a storm in 2023. It was a special tree to me and my wife, so we had Gray's Tree Service cut a 7' and a 5' section of the trunk to deliver to Alabama Sawyer for tables. Since it was a freshly "harvested" tree, it took 2 years for the wood to dry and cure. After the curing time, we had our new dining room table made with a live-edge and custom metal legs.
