Dr Gore always took time and answered all my questions so I would understand. He told me I was stage 3E but I never heard of a E In cancer. He didn’t want to tell me I was in stages 4 but after questioning the E, he told me I have a long road to travel but HE GOT ME. An HE DONE JUST WHAT HE SAID. THANKS DR. GORE, MY FAMILY AND I APPRECIATE YOU DEARLY!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Gore's since 2015. He has taken the best care of me since then up until now. I am so saddened by his retirement. Good doctors are so hard to find. I trust that he is leaving his position in capable hands.

Dr Gore is amazing. He may not always tell you what you want to hear but he will tell you what you need to hear.

Horrible experience!! When my sister’s cancer got worse he preceded to to her that “ Its like your cancer is on crack.” Like it was a joke we’d find funny. His nurse “scooter” then tells my sister that if her husband really cared he would have been there for the meeting. He was at home getting more clothes for them and taking care of their baby! After they left they ordered the other nurse to put a do not recesitate bracelet on her. She was so afraid and just utterly destroyed. I’ll never be abl

I have been seeing Dr. Gore for 15+years for multiple myeloma. He is an excellent Doctor. Wouldn’t go to another doctor in Birmingham. Have 100% confidence in him

I saw Dr. Gore when my usual doctor was away on family leave. Dr. Gore was considerate and took time with me. Going through chemotherapy is very stressful. The drug I was on can damage fingernails. Dr. Gore assessed my fingernails each time. I liked that he cared about it. If I had to choose a doctor in this practice other than my own, I would definitely choose Dr. Gore.

Patient with recurring ovarian cancer accompanied by a history of blood clots was offered a diagnosis (over the phone) of "anxiety" after reporting debilitating pain in lower abdomen. The pain was actually a blood clot in the kidney. Dr. Gore spends little time with his patient; he seems in a hurry. His explanations are difficult to understand, and he glosses over important facts. He was insensitive to my family after the death of his patient--not even an, "I am sorry for your loss."

Dr. Gore spoke at me not to me, very condescending. I felt belittled. He acted like he was bothered that I was in his office and that my illness didn't matter. Horrible bedside manner. I would not recommend him.
