Is this office open?
My husband and I went here about a year ago and we loved the nurses and doctor. Everyone was nice and they made me feel like they cared much more than my previous doctor. We didn’t have to get any kind of treatment, but they did monitor more (more ultrasounds than just the ones every few months like regular OBGYN). They also put me on thyroid medication which I probably needed for my first pregnancy and that wasn’t caught by my old doctor. We were sad when we “graduated” and had to find a new regular OB! For nearly a year, I only saw a doctor once! I went through seven ovulation inductions. During this period, I suggested that the ovulation drugs had no effect on me and asked if we could try a different drug. They didn't accept my suggestion and just said to keep going! This wasted my time and money! For us who are anxious about infertility, they showed no sympathy! I spent each time in disappointment!
As a newbie to fertility clinics, I've gotta say, Alabama Fertility Specialists has seriously impressed me. Moving here from just taking oral medication with my regular OB has been a game-changer. Dr. Bouknight and her team have given me so many answers that my OB couldn't, which has taken a huge weight off my shoulders. I just had my first IUI today, and the whole thing was a breeze. Everyone's super knowledgeable and helpful, and they make you feel totally at ease.
So far I have had a great experience. Dr. Bouknight and team has been very attentive and thorough. The nurses and receptionist are always very sweet.
