The only professional and most welcoming salon I’ve ever seen in Oakland, the braider was on time, they’re now at 4227 telegraph in Oakland. I got my hair braided last weekend by the owner and the hair came out so good with a lot of good complement. I’ll surely be back
The negative reviews sound like mine years ago. I booked an appointment for corn rows only to show up and there's no one there. Just a note saying that they had some family emergency. Yet no one had the decency to even call me. And when I called them the following week, they acted as if it was my fault that I couldn't be seen and then thought that I should've rescheduled. I certainly did not!
I booked with this place on Booksy, confirmed the appointment immediately after and was still flaked on when I arrived. No one communicated with me that they would not be able to see me. Super unprofessional. Would not recommend.
