I'm writing this to warn other ADHD patients about the frustrating and contradictory experience engaging the services of Akkadian for my ADHD reassessment report. Their website explicitly states: "Your referring GP (and you) will receive a comprehensive assessment report and treatment plan." Don't use the Akkadian ADHD assessment service. You will pay excessively for a perfunctory interraction with an apathetic, disinterested 'professional' who logs on late and ends the assessment early. Akkadian health is purely in it for the money. You will recieve poor service. Don't believe their promotional hype.
My experience of an ADHD diagnosis was sub-optimal. The psychiatrist logged in ten minutes late late and finished the consult 15 minutes early. The whole process felt superficial. It is also unfair to then dump the management of medication back onto my excellent but overworked GP. Despite the spin, it very much feels like the business makes money with pump and dump style minimal service.
