Downtown Baltimore gem! – I have been a regular patron of the downtown location for over 10 years! The ambience of this quiet little gem is not readily revealed as you descend below the sidewalk on North Charles Street. Eating here, is like eating a wonderful home cooked meal with all the trimmings. Their lunch buffet is a must try because it is low priced and includes many items. Best Indian Food in Baltimore – I have tried almost all of the Indian restaurants in Baltimore, and Akbar has to be considered the best. The food is always good and the service is always prompt and courteous.
Thrilling – Akbar is a restaurant for the taste buds. Whenever I have a craving, I run to Akbar for some chicken tikka masala or the salmon--DELICIOUS. My experiences have always been good and I reccommend Akbar without hesitation!
Not the best... just another place – Akbar was a horrible restaurant. The waiter that served me was rude and illtrained.
