We had a great lady guide us, unfortunately forgot her name. She told us a lot of things how to care for the orchids and how to keep them alive. Showed us the different smells of orchids like chocolate, cinnamon, wine etc. It was a great experience. Would recommend to anyone.
Great place to visit! I took my two visiting sister in laws there and they loved it. The scents are intoxicating and our tour guide Nate was very knowledgeable and friendly. I live on the big island and good customer service is hard to come by here but Nate's was excellent and I will probably be able able to keep my orchid alive and blooming now for much longer thanks to his info.
Most beautiful variety of Orchids I have ever observed. They also allow nosey tourists (like myself) stroll around and take photos without buying anything!
Geneva at Akatsuka's really made my friend Elizabeth's trip special . I've been ordering from the nursery for years and was born on the Big Island. I took friends to come with me to visit family and my mom then took them up to the nursery to see the flowers. The staff is always helpful and very knowledgeable. The nursery's customer service is beyond compare.
