My sister and I have gone to Akari for a long time because we love their hair stylist Peter John. He always does great work. I recently got married in Ogunquit, Maine and had to have him do my bridal hair and makeup. He was so laid back and easy to work with throughout the whole process. Dropped my wife off for some pampering in honor of Teacher Appreciation Day. The staff at Akari was great, treated her like a queen. Beautiful old Portland building, very clean, bright and airy. Plenty of parking nearby too. I’m sure my wife will be back soon!
