PROFESSIONAL and BRAIDS ARE PERFECT. I have tried other shops. this one is, by far, the best in the Jacksonville area. If you need braids, of any style, call Ama. I love microbraids and blending colors. I use their hair because it is excellent quality and they always have the colors I need. When I was there on Monday, the atmosphere was positive and collegial. I absolutely recommend that you don’t get your hair braided at this salon. I paid $180 for micro and got big braids, the young lady had zero experience doing micro. The owner wasn’t there and got a attitude with me when I brought it to her attention. I will be seeing them in small claims court.
I went and asked for micro braids small they gave me a price of $180 I asked if they had time to do it they said yes I came out with the front looking beautiful but behind the ears on my back half it was space as large they blamed it on the fact that everyone wears their hair up or back they fix some of it the next day I was very uncomfortable because the whole eight nine hours I was there everyone spoke in French the whole time I understand their native language but 99% of their customers are American and I found it quite r... read more

Very quick and takes walk-ins!!!! Her and the other ladies were very professional.
I am very happy with the job done on my hair. This was the first place that I have tried since moving to Jacksonville from south Florida. I was pleased with the cost of braids, quality of technique, and the level of professionalism of my stylist. I have really short hair at my rim, but she was able to grip well. This is a quality that I have has problems finding in the past. Additionally, the stylist worked at a fast pace.
