Great Allergist After my former allergist retired, I was in search of a new one. I found Dr. Nguyen. So I went to see him before getting my allergy shots there. My last allergist told me that I had to be on shots for the rest of my life, but Dr. Nguyen had a different opinion. He suffered from allergies when he was younger, but he had shots for 3 years and has been off of any shots and medication for the past 15 years and he hasn't had any allergy attack. He told me that people usually would get used to the allergens in the shots in 3 to 5 years, and he would test me again when I'm almost at the 5 year mark to see if I need shots again. I like that kind of approach instead of getting you to go to shots every week for the rest of your life. I would highly recommend Dr. Nguyen.
