The office was very nice and helpful at the beginning of the process, and communication was good initially. However, things changed toward the end. I paid $1,500 in retainer and filing fees but ultimately decided not to proceed with Chapter 13 after determining the monthly payments were not realistic for my situation. The bankruptcy was never filed. I understand the retainer is non-refundable. However, when I requested a refund of the filing fee I paid (since the case was never filed), communication became difficult. I recei... read more
