We had an excellent experience at Allegheny General Hospital Emergency Department. They got us in incredibly quickly, which was a huge relief given how sick my husband had been. He’d been dealing with severe vomiting for nearly a week, couldn’t keep anything down, and was clearly dehydrated. The pain from constant vomiting and dry heaving was intense, so we really needed help—and fast. The team delivered. I went there at 330 and didn't leave until 630. There were 3 ppl in the waiting room when I got there. Ppl that came in after me left before being seen. The nurse that took my initial information and vitals was amazing! She was so attentive and sweet. I got an x-ray after 2 hrs n sent back to the waiting room. Finally got put in a room for the Dr to come in for 5 min look at my foot n say she would be back she wanted to see if they missed anything in my x-ray.
