Dr Athar is always professional and through. I had a bad experience with TOC ag first and he is the reason I continued to go there.
Dr Athar is kind, caring and sensitive. It's hard to have cancer, but having a doctor like Dr Athar be with you helped calm some of the fear. He explained everything he did and encouraged me to stay strong. He took my middle of the night panic fever calls with kindness. He is the best. And I'm 5 years plus cancer free and so happy he was there for me
Dr. Athar is compassionate, caring and attentive to his patients. He has been my Oncologist since 2015 and has made my cancer journey less stressful knowing I had such a wonderful and knowledgable Dr. taking care of me. I would most definitely highly recommend him to everyone that is in need of an Oncologist. The entire staff is always available and quick to respond to all my concerns even to this day.
Dr. Athar is of the highest caliber. I feel blessed to have him as my oncologist. He has chosen the right Chemo for my case. (confirmed first PET scan plus the way in which my treatment has progressed ). This speaks highly to his expertise. He has been a great listener and very compassionate in his approach to my treatment.I can say the same for his nursing team (especially Brook) as well as the Chemo infusion team. I am a highly satisfied patient .
Dr. Athar has given me excellent care following my pancreatic surgery. He gives me confidence, hope, and accurate medical advice.

Dr. Athar is such a kind and compassionate doctor! He answers all your questions and explains things so that you’ll understand everything that’s happening.
Dr Athar has always been prompt and courteous. Also he has taken the time to explain in detail my opinions .He helps me stay positive about my treatments and outcome.
Dr. Athar spends time with the patient answering all of their questions. He has been instrumental in working with MD Anderson to make sure I had ever option presented to me. While cancer is scary, Dr. Athar gives me clear and concise prognosis. Very happy with him as my Oncologist.
