We rented a power lift chair on 1/24/24. This is the second one we rented from them. The procedure was cancelled the same day, so the chair was not needed. I called Agawam Medical immediately to cancel the chair. I actually offered to pay for a week. They said NO REFUND because the chair was already set up. Huh?? Again, I understand which is why I offered to pay for a week. Response? NO REFUND Great business practice. And I have a small business in town. Spread the word. Use RENT A Center!!! Same price. Business response:
We tell all our customers that we do not prorate and it is in the paperwork that the customer signs upon delivery. The delivery is labor intensive it takes 2 men. Seeing as this is a repeat customer, he should know our policy. The customer was offered a discount even though we don't usually do that he refused, and still has the equipment.
Went to the store last week. The customer service was amazing. The 2 associates were very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend going there for all of your durable medical needs ect..
I went to Agawam Medical Supply on 3/15/23 after I had seen my Vascular surgeon from some outpatient surgery. I went to the ***************. location and was just really taken aback by the wonderful care that I received and their attention to detail.Aleesa and Amy were a wonder of knowledge. Terrible customer service. I finally found out today the cancer compression garments I ordered six weeks ago were not actually ordered until three days ago, despite the fact I have called weekly for the past few weeks looking for my order. The sales rep, Mary Lou is "always busy with another customer." This happens EVERY time I deal with her and its been years. No more. I am done.
