Started the process to become a Resource Parent for Agape Villages in October. It was a very pleasant experience. We had help every step of the way. The Nice Woman that handled all of our paperwork was helpful and very kind. Everyone was helpful from the home inspections to the Home study. I highly suggest going through Agape if you are interested in becoming a resource family. Amazing personal experience.
If I could give them zero stars I would. I see why they are given negative rating on their management style. Very cold and impersonal. I went through their 3/4 of the foster carecare pro only to be told I could not be a foster parent...no explanation nothing.Yet I meet all the requirements. But months prior had been told that I wasn't a fit due having MS. How can one meet all the requirements be and told this. Is this discrimination? Do not go here.
