DIAMOND in the Rough We all know that as a female, it can sometimes be hard to find a female-friendly Barber Shops, especially when it mostly male owned. I have been to plenty and let me tell you, Against Da Grain is Top Notch and this Female Approves. Visiting Charleston for the first time, came here a wreck but bro Spencer got me RIGHTT haven't cared about my hair before I stepped into that place, that is besides just being a very pleasant atmosphere.
Excellent, old-school black barbershop (but with Asians, Latinos and Whites all waiting for cuts!)...complete with a "Swear Jar" for anyone caught cursing aloud! See Tina and get a great, affordable cut and friendly conversation.
