We were there for our granddaughter’s wedding! It rained (poured). Moved it inside so we got crowded but the staff worked right along with the group! I think being so close to all the activities was a blessing for us!
We had a wonderful experience staying at the Afton House Inn.
We were a group from a bus, but they expected us and had 2 servers there. We didn't get a salad or anything before the meal. the garlic mashed potatoes were great and the gravy that was on them was not the typical brown gravy. the gravy was good also. the 2 pieces of pork was not tender. it was hard to cut with our regular knives, and each piece I had to put in the potato gravy so I could chew it. My jaws were hurting by the time I was done. I gave my green beans to my husband as I'm not supposed to eat them. He couldn't eat... read more
Very beautiful accommodations, great food and service! Would highly recommend for just a night away, close to the cities too. Loved it.
