I waited almost 2 months for this appointment for a visit back in January and was referred by my primary with a MRI and a consult for possible Hysterectomy. When I shared with Dr. Arthur what I was suggested by my primary, she let me know that a hysterectomy was a little extreme. She did a brief pelvic exam, and took a urine culture. My MRI was never looked at, nor discussed. I’ve had to get another appointment at a different doctor so someone can actually look and see what was seen on the MRI. 6 months ago Dr Afiba Authur changed my life for the better! I just have a complete Hysterectomy and never thought I would feel like this 13 days later. The most knowledgeable and gentle Doctor I have ever known.I had a severe Prolaspe! God Bless her!
I have no idea what this dr actually does when it comes to women’s health. I did a pap last year and it was a very unremarkable experience (not great/not bad) which is fine but in the last year I’ve called several times with various women’s health concerns and they are never able to help. The staff is often cold as well. I wouldn’t recommend
Not a great experience. I was brought into the exam room by a rude medical assistant who appeared openly unhappy. She did not provide the doctor with the written symptom timeline I had prepared and brought to the visit. The physician herself was fine, but I expected a more empathetic bedside manner when cancer was included as a differential diagnosis, particularly as I became visibly upset during the discussion. She was wonderful. Had to wait a few months to see her, but it was definitely worth the wait. She was timely, professional, kind and very knowledgeable. Explained every option I had very thoroughly. I had no questions left. I feel confident with her which ever route I choose. Her office was neat and clean and the staff was polite and very professional as well. I am very, very happy I waited for her.
